Liam Creagh has been running media company Red Box Media for thirteen years. It specialises in public relations strategy, media relations, media training, corporate messaging, communications and broadcast and non broadcast television production.

Liam has been a journalist in Northern Ireland for 33 years and has an unrivalled understanding of how the communications industry here, in the South of Ireland and in the UK works. Among those he has worked with are Sky News and GMTV (both as National Correspondent), BBC, UTV, RTE, Belfast Telegraph and many foreign news outlets. He is also on the Social Services Committee of the Bryson Charitable Group – invited because of his media expertise.

In 2009 Liam was personally instrumental in helping the East Belfast Partnership during its successful bid to the Big Lottery for funding for the Connswater Community Greenway project. On a day when the media was majoring on a fire which killed a family of six in Omagh, the broadcasters didn’t send crews to the launch. Red Box Media still managed to get its clients on the air that evening.

During 2010 and 2011 Red Box Media led the strategy and campaign to attract the Cuban Boxing team and Chinese gymnastic teams to train here in Northern Ireland as part of the Sport Northern Ireland pre-Olympic and Paralympic games.

Liam coached the senior directors of the Health and Social Care Board in preparation for the Transforming Your Care roadshows and consultation. So impressed were John Compton and his team that they asked Liam to host twelve of the hugely important roadshows around Northern Ireland, dealing with unions and pressure groups spread through the audiences.
